Biography

Charlie Neshyba Hodges is a dancer, designer, and educator whose career bridges movement, innovation, and impact. Working predominantly with Twyla Tharp, he earned the Fred Astaire Award as Best Male Dancer on Broadway and the European Critic’s Choice Award for Best Male Dancer of the Year. He has also served as répétiteur for works by Tharp, Forsythe, Millepied, and Peck, among others, and currently teaches at The Colburn School in Los Angeles. Beyond dance, Hodges teaches design for sustainability at ArtCenter College of Design and collaborates with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, creating art installations that translate satellite science for the public. A two-time international gold medalist in product design, he unites artistry, empathy, and precision to improve how people move, think, and feel.
