Biography
Cherylynn Jody Moody, Ed.D. earned her B.A. in Sociology from CSU, Chico, as an Robert P. Rankin awardee and a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Honor Society and earned her M.A. in Teaching from CSU, Fresno with an emphasis in Social Justice. She taught elementary and middle school students with an emphasis on art integration in the general education classroom. She received her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of La Verne, with research in Twice Exceptionality, students with giftedness and disabilities, in the P12 classroom. Her interests also include understanding and exploring the use of standardized assessments within the context of teacher credential programs. She serves as a CAEP site accreditation visitor. She has taught Elementary Methodology, and Art Methods while coordinating Fieldwork in the Northern and Central California regions. She now serves as Academic Program Director, edTPA coordinator and teaches Secondary and Elementary Assessment and Transformative Pedagogy.
