Biography
As both a cognitive neuroscientist and occupational therapist, Chien-Te "Vince" Wu brings a unique perspective to studying perception and cognition across neurodiverse populations. His research journey began with investigating how selective attention influences neural representation in perceptual processing, and has evolved to examine altered cognitive patterns in clinical populations. His recent work spans both basic and translational research, including developing EEG-based approaches to assist in diagnosing major depressive disorder and detecting early signs of pathological cognitive decline (e.g., MCI or SCD), as well as designing non-pharmacological cognitive training interventions to prevent or address cognitive decline in older adults.
