Biography
Henry E. “Chip” Scholz is Head Coach of Scholz and Associates. He is a nationally recognized executive coach and public speaker. He is a Certified Professional in Behavior, Value and Attribute Analysis and is a member of Target Training International’s Chairman’s Club. He is a Certified Business Coach and works with CEO’s, business owners and their teams across North America. He is a consultant in good standing with the The Hartman Institute.
Chip’s professional practice focuses on three areas: Executive Coaching and Consulting for CEO's and their teams; Using assessments to help companies hire right and; Facilitation. Since forming the company in 1997, he has worked with organizations and individuals in the for-profit, non-profit and governmental fields. He has worked in several industries including transportation, solid waste, third party logistics, telecommunications, financial services, real estate, insurance, manufacturing and travel.
Chip is an active speaker, appearing throughout the U.S. and Canada addressing businesses, civic groups and professional associations. He has spoken to groups that include the State Legislative Leaders Foundation, IWLA, Southeast Warehouse Association, Project Managers International, North Carolina Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Nurses Association and the International Association of Administrative Professionals. He has addressed these groups on topics such as "Do Eagles Just Wing It?", "A New Definition of Leadership", "Attitude is the Fuel", "Extreme Productivity", "Winning at Sales" and others.
He is co-author of "Masterminds Unleashed: Selling for Geniuses" and "Do Eagles Just Wing It?".
A strong supporter of the community, he has served as Chairman of the Board of four chambers of commerce, most recently as 2003 Chairman of the Board of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce. He has been on the board and in leadership capacities in several other civic and charitable groups. In addition, he has held advisory positions in state, county and local government units, including chairmanship of the Los Angeles County Quality and Productivity Commission. He has served on the board and faculty of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership. Chip is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte and serves on the board of the International Warehouse Logistics Association in Chicago.
