
Christopher Hansen

Biography
Dr. Hansen earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Loyola University Chicago and was most recently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Illinois Chicago. He has longstanding ties with NORC at the University of Chicago, a social science research firm, where he has had the opportunity to collaborate on projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Health Resources Services Administration, and National Institutes of Health. Teaching is one of Dr. Hansen’s most singular passions, and he is excited to engage LMU students on the use of sociological theory and method to answer their questions about the social world.
