Biography
Clay Villanueva has a long history of making technology easy to understand and use for the average person. He spent 7 years in the Navy as a communications technology specialist, then has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years since. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has made "ease of use" his specialty. Clay can make even the most complex technologies easy for folks to understand with style and humor. His focus is on the end users, the actual people using the systems. He is adept at delivering a wide variety of information to groups, from comprehensive overviews to detailed system use and processes. The bottom line to his successful communication skills lies in two areas. One is speaking so the average person really gets a good grasp of the entire concept. The other is showing the most easy and enjoyable way for people to engage in the specific topic or technology. His warm and "regular guy" persona delivers information as a trusted friend explaining things to help you out instead of the "technical manual" style that can cause many non technical folks to feel left out. Each talk leaves the audience feeling like they have gained new beneficial insight as well as having made a new friend in Clay.
