Biography
Cory Warner is an Assistant Professor within LMU's School of Film and Television. Cory Warner earned his MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute (2014) and shot the 2015 Student Academy Award Winning Film, “This Way Up”, that he lensed for Director, Jeremy Cloe. Cory’s work has played at/on HULU, AFI Fest, and LA Shorts, among other platforms and film festivals. He has shot music videos for Robin Thicke, Maren Morris, and Cozz, along with a handful of other talented musicians. Cory is a hardworking and collaborative filmmaker with a strong eye for lighting, composition, and camera movement. Raised amidst the raw beauty and close-knit communities of the West Virginia mountains, Cory's work reflects his deep appreciation for values such as integrity, resilience, and camaraderie.
