Biography
Corrina Laughlin is an Instructor within the college of Communication and Fine Arts in the Communication Studies department and whose research and teaching focuses on Media Studies. She received her B.A. in English and Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and she holds an M.A. in English from New York University and a Ph.D. in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She has presented her research on the intersection between digital culture and religion nationally and internationally and has been published in journals in Communication and in Anthropology. She is the author of Redeem All: How digital life is changing evangelical cutlure available from the University of California Press. In addition to her academic work, she has been involved in producing ethnographic and documentary films that have shown at film festivals and academic conferences.
