Courtney Pyche's research focuses on the professional development of health sciences librarians, evidence synthesis reviews and user needs.
Biography
Courtney Pyche is the personal librarian to various departments with the College of Public Health and Health Professions and the College of Medicine. Courtney finds evidence to support public health research and teaching. She further supports faculty, students, and staff within her liaison groups through leading database searches and reporting for evidence synthesis reviews. Additionally, she conducts research on the professional development of health sciences librarians, including their global work and supports they need for professional transitions. Finally, she researches ways to make the library services and spaces more welcoming to students through hosting exhibits, promoting leisure reading and designing spaces intentionally with their feedback.
