With 10 years teaching experience, Cynthia's specialty is experiential learning with hands on opportunities to experience the field.
Before coming to Cambrian she worked in Community Corrections in southern Ontario (people recently released/at risk) for 12 years.
She volunteers countless hours to College committees and to community organizations such as the IODE, Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer, and the Relay for Life.
Equally important, she actively recruits students to volunteer with these organizations, teaching them valuable lessons about the benefits of serving in the community.
An exemplary faculty member, Cynthia demonstrates outstanding commitment to her students, the College, and the community. Cynthia exerts energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude to inspire all those around her.
