Cynthia Sanchez is a bilingual Spanish-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker( LCS 28475) with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescent, adults and families. Cynthia practices from a Psychodynamic, Attachment orientation to help process underlying causes of symptoms, track behavioral patterns and gain greater insight into the self. Cynthia received her Bachelor degree in sociology and criminal justice from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Cynthia later received her Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Southern California (USC). Cynthia completed internship training at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services and Child and Family Guidance Center (Formally Family Stress Center) with special training and emphasis on working with children and trauma, forensic interviewing, and adolescent sex offenders.

Cynthia specializes in working with sexual abuse trauma survivors and holds certificates and specialties in: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Parenting and Child Parent Psychotherapy, in addition to knowledge in areas of Infant mental health, developmental assessments, various psychological disorders, domestic violence, and intergenerational trauma. Cynthia has experience in working in various modalities including working with individuals, groups, and families. Cynthia continues to harbor close connections to university staff and has experience working with graduate level interns and supervising post graduate therapist who wish to obtain hours for licensure.
