Biography
I remember vividly my first computer. My Dad brought it home from his work at the time with one of the "Big 8" firms. Every chance I had, I was on it. Because of my familiarity with computers, when my Elementary School received an Apple II, I was asked to show the teachers what the capabilities were of the computer, most notably, how to turn it on.
I've been fortunate enough to have always surrounded myself with the latest and greatest of technology. My University years were spent helping classmates with their machines and school projects requiring a computer. My internship with the Red Cross during School was spent automating their Health & Safety classes, supply, and equipment maintenance using a database driven model.
After school I ventured into graphic design as an artist and an art director for national magazines and advertising firms. Aside from my creative accomplishments, I led the way for setting up a digitized publishing system, moving away from the staid and costly stat cameras and film output that were the norm of the industry.
Because I supported the users and machines in my art departments, my venture into systems administration was an easy turn. Managing servers, networks, telephones, workstations and portable devices became my day to day routine. Reducing cost, complication and down time for users has been the impetus for my work.
My recent work has taken me to 4 different coasts in 2 different countries. Solving problems in corporations, home offices and main street shops. Performing setups and help within multi-million dollar homes, senior residential parks, a 43' sport yacht and a couple of land yachts (class a motorhomes).
I am fortunate to have had such a varied environment because I deliver for my clients. As your Personal Technology Consultant, I'll work tirelessly to perform the same, with the most updated and fitting technology to solve your problems, no matter the location.
