Coaching as a Management Style
Managing a team of people involves working with a variety of personalities, differences in communication styles, differences in conflict management styles and differences in what motivates a person. Management with a coaching style teaches anyone supervising a team of people practical skills to positively motivate each team member to produce at their highest potential. Many managers and supervisors have difficulty getting the best job performance from their workers because they manage in a style that does not work with their supervisees. The coaching style of management provides techniques that work with all supervisee personalities and every conflict management style. This seminar provides simple techniques that are easily replicable in any work environment. The information will be presented in both didactic and experiential ways allowing the participants opportunities to practice some skills prior to leaving the workshop experience thereby encouraging replication in their real world work environments.
