Biography

David Neale is a seasoned senior Telecommunications executive with extensive management experience in consumer mobile devices and technology, Product Development for Wireless, modern Wireline, and IPTV. Additional telecommunications experience includes the areas of Mobile and IPTV Content development and Digital Media Distribution. Currently, David is President at Neale and Associates.

David joined Research In Motion as Vice President of Special Projects in May of 2010, and held the position of Office of the CMO.

Previous to this appointment, David Neale was Senior Vice President, Products & Services, responsible for directing the development of all Consumer products and services for Wireline and Wireless at Telus Communications Inc.

Before joining TELUS in 2007, David was most recently Vice President, Service Development for Rogers Communications Inc. Prior to that appointment, he was VP Product Development at Rogers Wireless, where he was responsible for long-term network and technology strategy and architecture, and for overseeing the development and implementation of all new wireless voice and data products.

Active with several industry organizations, David is on the Board of the Canadian Songwriters’ Hall of Fame. He has also served on the Board of the GSMA Executive Management Committee (2006).
