Biography
David Shepherd is a certified information systems security professional (CISSP) and certified ethical hacker (CEH), and has more than 16 years experience. For the past 12 years, he has focused on system administration of UNIX (and Linux) systems as well as security engineering. Mr. Shepherd has led a number of ST&E tasks within LMI’s internal and client hosted systems and has performed ST&E at approximately a dozen client sites for our federal clients. Mr. Shepherd is an expert at wireless security assessments and is a day-to-day security practitioner. Mr. Shepherd serves as an advisor to various federal clients on IT infrastructure issues and modernization tools and techniques.
In addition to providing consulting support, Mr. Shepherd manages production and development infrastructures supporting web application development and highly available web applications. This requirement to maintain an active environment provides a real world grounding to the advice Mr. Shepherd provides.
