My early career with IBM included systems engineering, solutions selling, sales and marketing team building, followed by Fortune 100 assignments in channel development, strategic and tactical planning and executive management. On the more entrepreneurial side, my experience has included investing in, founding and co-founding, and being an advisor to technology start-ups in situations of extraordinary expansion, to major re-engineering and rightsizing.
A former Provincially ranked squash player (played in the Canadian Nationals), family skier and avid boater. Expertise in software development and solutions, multimedia communications, mobile technology and application solutions, travel and entertainment, social and consumer networking and an amateur videographer.
As an original angel investor and QuickMobile Chief Marketing Officer, defined a new target market in meetings and events mobile technology solutions which increased revenues by 5000% overall, and established a #1 worldwide market position for the company in a new category, very competitive, high growth emerging market place.

Travel schedules and updates, city guides and geolocated location-based services, agendas and personalized schedules, gamification and case studies, social networking, rich media and video streaming, RFID, QR codes, augmented reality, and a plethora of other cutting-edge mobile technologies have created an ever-changing and confusing eco-system. From mobile technology patent wars, to multiple platform and operating system choices, to Tablet variations and app stores, through to vendor offerings, buy-outs, partnerships and technology cancellations, who can keep up with what is happening and how it may affect mobile implementation plans and usage?
