Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Dean has always had an avid interest in helping others achieve their dreams. As the leading authority on Gluten-Free Health, Dean has been blessed with the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands as a professional speaker, nutritionist , and on-camera host.

Dean's philanthropic efforts span from delivering food to the needy to various youth out reach programs in the U.S. and overseas. Currently, Dean's primary focus is centered around The Gluten Intolerance Group of America (GIG) - a non profit organization dedicated to helping those with gluten-related disorders live full, healthy, and productive lives. He is the President of GIG's North Orange County Branch located in Brea, CA.
