Biography
DeAndre W. Caldwell is a doctor of physical therapy and the program manager at ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services at the Smyrna Health & Wellness Center. He has provided expertise to the public on how his team partners with patients to develop treatment options for low back pain, chronic pain and orthopedic injuries. DeAndre developed and serves as team lead for Christiana Care Rehabilitation’s first chronic pain program, which is now available in 8 different clinics. He was a key contributor in the award winning Lumbar Radiculapthy Clinical Pathway for standardization of care for low back pain and sciatica. DeAndre received the Exceptional Achievement award from Dr. Adrian Louw/Evidence in Motion for excellence in therapeutic pain specialization program. DeAndre has a message of hope that the body is extremely adaptable and there is often a chance for positive change.

To kick things off, they're interviewing Dr. DeAndre Caldwell, a physical therapist in Delaware who works in a hospital-based outpatient center. DeAndre has spent much of his career working with patients who have neck and back pain, which started him on his journey with chronic pain. A graduate of the ISPI Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) program, DeAndre is passionate about using his pain neuroscience education knowledge to advocate for his patients.
