Biography
Professor Diana M. Limón earned her Ed.D. from Loyola Marymount University in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. Her dissertation focused on creating an inclusive small school to meet the needs of English Learners with Special Needs. She received a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Spanish from Loyola Marymount University. Professor Limón spent 20 years in the Lennox School District as a middle school Bilingual Special Education Teacher and a District Special Education Director. In addition to serving the Lennox community as an educator, she had the opportunity to be part of the Loyola Marymount School of Education for the past 30 years as part-time faculty. A passionate educator, Dr. Limón focuses her energy on contributing to the development of Education Specialists, supporting them in becoming educators and advocates for the families and children with special needs they serve. She greatly enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and their son, Anthony.
