Biography
Dorothy Ratusny, M.A., (C). OACCPP. (PhD Candidate) is a Certified Psychotherapist who specializes in Cognitive Therapy. Dorothy works with teens, adults and couples in her private practice. She has written several feature articles for National newspapers and magazines and is the Author of 'The Purpose of Love: A guidebook for defining and cultivating your most significant relationship' and 'Live Your Life's Purpose: A guidebook for creating and living a purposeful life'. Her third book, 'Inner Wisdom: A Journal' will be released in the fall of 2012.
Together with her extensive training in Cognitive Therapy, Dorothy applies knowledge of Eastern philosophies, Christian theology, Mysticism, and Metaphysics, - teaching clients practical, skill-based principles and techniques within a model of guided discovery - facilitating healing of their whole being.
As a Psychotherapist, Dorothy is easily able to identify areas of concern and contemplation, providing her clients with guided assistance as they learn how to trust from within and 'live their truth'. Her caring and thoughtful approach allows clients to feel supported and inspired as they overcome challenges, and make significant life changes - fulfilling their highest potential.
She is a Consultant for numerous Corporations, facilitating performance-based strategies and solutions in order to improve workplace communication, trust, and strengthen relationships among both management and employees.
