Biography
Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian, Medical Director at the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute and Longevity Medical Spa, founded the practice in 1981. Dr. Tcheupdjian presently holds several memberships and other appointments with eminent clinical organizations as part of his constructive involvement in the medical community. A Diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian M.D. is also a member of the American Society of Liposuction and the American Medical Association. Additional memberships include the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery, the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. At the state and local level, Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian is a member of the Illinois State Medical Society and the Chicago State Medical Society.
Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian received his Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in Evanston, Illinois. He then went on to become a pioneer in liposuction in the United States. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian M.D. is the author of Liposuction: New Hope for a New Figure through the Art of Body Contouring, which was published in 1988. In September 2010, Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian, M.D. and his daughter, who serves as Head Nurse at the practice's Gold Coast branch, additionally appeared on the NBC-5 reality television show "Plastic Royalty." Aired in connection with Towers Productions, "Plastic Royalty" centers on the unique business relationship between Dr. Tcheupdjian and his daughter, as well as providing an internal perspective on the profound positive influence of their work on the lives of their patients.
