Biography
Solveig Beyza Evenstad, Doctor of Information and Communication Sciences, obtained her PhD in 2016 at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, the research laboratory i3M, the department of Information and Communication Sciences. During her PhD, she was also a sessional lecturer (2012-2015) in two subjects in the organizational communication major of the department, in undergraduate and master level. Her PhD thesis was on the role of communication in work-related stress and burnout. She obtained her master degree in Organization and Leadership in 2011 (Master of Management, High Honors, NTNU, Trondheim, Norway) with a specialization in Relationship Management: Coaching, Counseling and Motivation. She holds also a BSc in Informatics (1988, Honors, University of Oslo) and BA in Management (1985, High Honors, Bogazici University, Istanbul). She worked with information and communication systems in global companies as a line manager, consultant, project manager, and system developer in 20 years before embarking upon her academic career.

Viva 12.12.16 with an international jury chaired by the Chairperson of the CNU 71st French section. The council of the 71st section is responsible for defining the field of Infocom and selecting the teacher-researchers (the French equivalent of university lecturers). Unanimous “congratulations from the jury”, the highest distinction in France.
