Biography
He has been working as general secretary for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness-Italian Branch (IAPB Italy) since 2002. He is in charge of coordinating the main activities concerning communication, external relations with institutions, and research. He has a long experience in ideating and managing communication campaigns aimed at different targets, in the field of political and institutional lobbying, and also in supervising the activities of the Italian National Center of Services and Research for the Prevention of Blindness and Rehabilitation of Low Vision Patients - founded by IAPB Italy and financed by the Ministry of Health.
Bachelor degree in economics and business, he worked as consultant of public administrations (provinces and communes) to define and manage project aimed at developing local areas.
He lives in Rome and is married to Marcella. He has four sons, Luca and Simone, and two daughter, Chiara and Sara.
