Biography

Elton Mutize is the Founder of Paradigm, the institution that builds compounding enterprises in Africa. His conviction is direct: Africa's best companies don't have a growth problem — they have an institution problem. Revenue climbs while capability stays locked in the founder, decisions stall, and cash stays tight — and when it is time to raise, sell, or scale, the market marks the business down for it.

Paradigm closes that gap through one integrated discipline — Enterprise Value Acceleration — working alongside founders, Group CEOs and boards to turn growth into cash, decisions into verified outcomes, and companies into institutions whose value outlasts any one person.

Elton began his career in investment banking and has since advised leadership teams across sub-Saharan Africa across 100+ engagements, from owner-run firms to multi-country groups. A Certified Scaling Up Coach and former Stanford Seed Business Transformation Advisor, he is the author of the forthcoming The Cash Is Missing (Q3 2026). Based in Nairobi, he works across East Africa and Zimbabwe.
