ERIC FRANK joined the USC social work teaching faculty in 2013. Previously, he was involved in field instruction for Master of Social Work and marriage and family therapy students for USC, San Diego State University and Alliant International University.
Prior to joining USC, he worked for Mental Health Systems, Inc., where he provided clinical supervision to intern-level therapists and helped to integrate co-occurring treatment models into outpatient alcohol and drug programs. He also served as clinical director of the East County Behavioral Health Clinic of San Diego Youth Services, working extensively with adolescents and their families across a wide range of issues.
Frank currently owns Stratagema, a licensed clinical social worker corporation comprised of mental health clinicians who provide treatment for anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anger issues and addiction. He also provides post-graduate trainings in solution-focused therapy, brief therapy and brief strategic therapy. In addition, he dedicates a significant amount of time working with active duty military, veterans and law enforcement personnel, particularly focusing on treatment resistance.
