Erin Gallagher's research focuses on library/vendor partnerships, open access publishing and the evolving role of collections as a service.
Biography
Erin Gallagher leads collection management activities and initiatives. This includes acquiring, licensing, administering and sustaining access to a variety of print and electronic resources. She provides vision and leadership for the activities and aspirations of the Acquisitions & Collections Services Department. This includes stewardship of a $15 million materials budget, as well as establishing goals and developing strategy around complex acquisitions and collections methods. As a campus leader in open access publishing, she manage initiatives and agreements that transform the scholarly publishing landscape and make information openly accessible to global scholars.
