Biography
Faye Matt holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a major in Recreation and Sport Administration from the University of Regina.
Faye is the CEO of Special Olympics Saskatchewan, an organization she has served since 2008. Special Olympics is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport. This unique organization operates both as a Sport Governing Body as well as Charity.
Faye has diverse competencies in the sector including accessible sport, volunteerism, event management and non-profit policy.
In 2014 she was recipient of the University of Regina – Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies Distinguished Recent Alumnus Award.
Faye serves on the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood Regina as well as various committees in the areas of marketing, policy and sport management.
