Dr. Morgan Friedman graduated with her Ed.D in Intellectual Disabilities and Autism from Teachers College at Columbia University in December 2017. Dr. Friedman was a full time special education teacher in NYC for seven years, teaching elementary through high school in self-contained and inclusion settings, located in public, non-public, and private schools. While at Teachers College, Dr. Friedman was an adjunct professor, teaching Technology in the Special Education classroom and supervising masters students as they completed their student teaching requirements. Dr. Friedman's dissertation, Parental Involvement During Post-Secondary Transition for Youth with Developmental Disabilities, looked at parental involvement in New York City's special education district.

Dr. Friedman is extremely excited to be joining LMU and exploring the amazing opportunities both LMU and California have to offer.
