Currently the CEO and Founder of several entities. Digital Health Space and Health Train Express are internet websites whose missions are changes in health policy, and the ramifications and interaction of HIT in this space. Clinical Information Exchange is a consulting firm designed to educate, promote and implement not only electronic health records, personal health records and other information technologies , including social media, analytics, and interoperabiiity.
Gary M. Levin MD studied Electrical Engineering and Genomics at the University of Connecticut, He received an M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine . He specialized in Ophthalmology and was a cliinical investigator for intraocular lenses. He was an early adopter of small incision cataract removal, refractive and laser surgery for myopia.. After 30 years of clinical medicine he entered the publishing and health information technology field. Gary Levin MD was a principle founder for the Inland Empire Health Information Exchange. Dr. Levin has several academic appointments, Loma Linda University School of Medicine (Asst Clinical Professor) in the Department of Ophthalmology)
