Gary McSloy LLM; LLB (Hons); BSc (Hons) RGN. (Solicitor Consultant Director and Nurse) is the managing Director of GMFortuna Ltd. GMFortuna is a small bespoke consultancy that offers healthcare and legal advice for NHS and Independent healthcare organisations. The speaker currently is engaged by Wellstate Commercial Ltd and the Commissioning Business Service (CBS) He continues to draft health care contracts, advise on Procurement law, healthcare Law and Risk management for healthcare commissioners and Providers alike such as PCT’s and Acute Hospital Foundation Trusts. He has extensive experience in the NHS including roles as an Associate Director of Corporate and Legal Services, Risk Management and Corporate Governance roles. The post holder is a graduate of Law, a Master of Laws (Healthcare Law) and a qualified practising Solicitor and a graduate of Nursing and a qualified Registered Nurse. He remains on both the Law Society and the General Nursing Council (GNC) roll. He has extensive experience within the healthcare sector of HM Prison service including extensive experience managing health care within Prisons and auditing Nationally recognised healthcare standards. He has worked both here in the UK and abroad in the Middle East in many specialist an acute areas of the health service including renal ITU, Theatre and Occupational health.
