At the age of 14, I read a newspaper article about children being abused. I didn't like what I read. I believed I can make a difference by changing the world in my own way influence it and make it better for children. Yes I am Crazy :) -- But didn't Steve Jobs once said that "People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." ?
Since that article, I have been committed and passionate to defend the rights of children around the world and helping the most vulnerable and disempowered children around the world, who believe themselves to be incapable of affecting social change by initiating major changes in programs and laws serving children. I LOVE what I do.
President Bill Clinton once said to me "Fortunately, there are people like you who have selflessly made the welfare of these children a priority…. Thank You for all you do to give children everywhere a real chance for a better future.
Mayor Tremblay of Montreal: "You are an example for younger generations...it is people like you who enhance our society"
Now at 30, It is amazing what the Internet is doing to our lives and for the world but now I'm working to reclaim the power of personal touch with face-to-face meetings in a crazy digital world because "We sacrifice conversation for mere connection".
Even, Steve Jobs was a strong believer in face-to-face meetings. He once said: “There’s a temptation in our networked age to think that ideas can be developed by email and iChat,” ”That’s crazy. Creativity comes from spontaneous meetings, from random discussions. You run into someone, you ask what they’re doing, you say ‘Wow’, and soon you’re cooking up all sorts of ideas.”
