How Marriage has shaped US History & Culture
Marriage from colonial times has been viewed as foundational to society and also an expression of individual rights. America has been greatly affected by marriage from the Revolution, thru the early women's sufferage movement, thru slavery times and the issue of polygamy in the Utah Territory. This talk also looks at marriage and immigration and laws banning interacial marriage.
