Biography
Logistics and supply chain consultancy and training company Apprise Consulting was established in 2003. With 30 years experience in logistics and supply chain operations, Gwynne Richards set up Apprise to assist companies improve their operations, reduce costs and increase client satisfaction in the field of supply and logistics.
Gwynne is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Institute of Operations Management. He is a Practicing Associate with the Academy of Experts and a member of the Institute of Consulting.
He recently published a book on Warehouse Management through Kogan Page.
He is also a lecturer at Warwick University and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Gwynne is Chairman of the CILT Outsourcing and Procurement Forum and regularly speaks on topics such as logistics outsourcing, performance measurement and bench-marking in logistics and improving warehouse operations.
