A trained chemical engineer and a respected teacher. Before coming to Cambrian College to teach, Hadi Fergani was a R&D Chemist at the world-renowned Sudbury Neutrino Observatory.
In 2010, Hadi assumed the role of Internationalization Coordinator with Cambrian International. His duties included student services, academic counselling and promoting internationalization strategies within and outside the college.
He has travelled to Tanzania to deliver training in Environmental Management for the staff of VETA-Moshi and Dar Es Salaam Institute of Technology sponsored by the ACCC project, Education For Employment (EFE). The emphasis of the training was on Cyanide Management Code. This is an area the mining sector has been urged to actively implement the International Cyanide Management Code for improved mining activities and safety of community members staying near gold mines.
His work and travels have also taken him around the world.
Hadi was born in Libya and brings extensive experience and perspective to the topics of international and world affairs.
