Biography
I term myself the "Boomer Ronin."
It's been an interesting path to the world of personal development, fitness/wellness, and providing content marketing strategy. After practicing law, I started an independent middle school in Harlem for kids who had not been successful in public school. I also co-founded a school in Lucknow, India for poor Hindu and Muslim girls. As the former executive director for a major youth organization, I was responsible for over 300 employees, a $13 million budget, and the creation of an independent high school. My travels have shown me that it takes mental, physical, and spiritual wellness to fully express our humanity.
This Is Who I Help:
Business owners who are seeking balance in their lives at the same time they try to increase productivity.
In my capacity as a welllness/fitness coach, I work mainly with busy women who are trying to find time for fitness and health. I also work with teens who are trying to manage life's stresses.
I provide peak performance training training to schools, nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. Teaching people to manage emotions and energy are critical to the work I do - whether it's a high school student or a C-level executive.
I worked for five years as a consultant to the Baltimore Police Department in the areas of "tactical communications," coaching, and leadership. I have written for The Ricki Lake Magazine, The Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police magazine, and various blogs.
This Is How I Help
I use the tools of NLP, Reiki, and peak performance research from the world of athletics to bring powerful and balanced life design to people who want to achieve big things. I work in person, online, and through public speaking.

Fredrick H. Bealefeld lll, former Baltimore Police Commissioner | training
“Your work in teaching communications skills and raising officer awareness is without peer. I think the true expert or authority of a matter or subject is the person who lives in that role, totally immersed, developed and infused until instinctive. You certainly have achieved this level of understanding and have coupled it with a keen ability to instruct. As the Baltimore Police Department grows stronger and more capable to solve the problems long plaguing our city, a handful of devoted people can claim a role in our success. Trust that you are among that number and have my gratitude and appreciation.” (ret.)Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld,III
Vincent Dotoli, Head of School | Harlem Academy
“Hans was able to provide critical direction to Harlem Academy’s program development…When I think about how he approaches hard questions with me, it makes it easy to understand why motivated people value the chance to work on his team…Hans is a great problem solver, but he is even better at articulating and working toward a vision…at the retreat that he led he knew how to ask questions and share information in a manner that inspired collaboration and kept us focused on what would best move the school forward…Hans possesses tireless energy, a forthright, results-focused communications style, vision, and a passion for educational excellence. His work has been extraordinary."
Jenny Lynn Stewart, singer/songrwriter & President, Somada Music Productions | Harlem Arts Alliance

Joanne Hunt, Principal | Harbor Science and Arts Charter School
“Hans E. Hageman” has been an integral part of our school’s success because of his leadership and trust…His style of leadership is one of support and guidance. He is strategic, intuitive and would often subjugate his own needs for the greater cause. He is a nurturing individual and always made himself available for staff members or students. He combines humility with tremendous professional will. It was an honor to work under his supervision. The constant in his life is that he is always looking for ways to improve his community and the lives of young people. He is a great leader and a relentless humanitarian. Hans is a pillar in the world of education, locally and internationally..."
