Biography
Hong Gang is Senior Vice President, China Market Access for Healthcare at Orchestrall Group.
He is the Founder and Managing Director of AMA InfoTech Development Inc., a Canadian business management company that provides China market penetration and investment risk management services. From 1997–2008, AMA performed China-wide market access for Gartner, a top global IT research and strategic consulting firm. Mr. Hong was Managing Director at Gartner China for over 10 years.
He is a senior advisor to the ChinaSourcing Working Committee at China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and special advisor to the ChinaSourcing Enterprises Alliance at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
Hong Gang has a proven track record in working with various Chinese government and private entities in business development efforts in China, including: Central and local government entities, Chinese software and sourcing parks, State-Owned Enterprises, and large companies in the telecommunications, finance and energy industries.
More recently he has focused on global sourcing solutions among North America, India and China.
Hong Gang is a frequent speaker at international forums. He has spoken at the Walton Business Forum (USA), the UK and Canada Worldsourcing Summit, the NASSCOM Leadership Forum in India, and at various national conferences in China.
A graduate from China's prestigious Tsinghua University in Beijing (Electrical Engineering), Hong splits his time between North America and China.
