Biography
Idalis Villanueva designed and directs The TWISTER (Transforming Workforce by Interconnecting Structures of Training, Education, and Research) Lab, and she is an associate professor in the Department of Engineering Education. The TWISTER Lab is a one-of-a-kind multi-modal laboratory that synergizes scholarship in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning and teaching with mixed- and multi-modal methods and biological/physiological tools to establish a comprehensive understanding of engineering student performance and experiences.
