Biography
As the U.S. Customs Compliance and Information Manager for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. He has national responsibilities including communication, education, and involvement internally and externally, and he also holds direct regional compliance authority over 9 branches. He has been a licensed United States Customs Broker for over 10 years, and has earned the certification of Customs Compliance Specialist from the National Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder Association of America. Over his twelve years of employment with Hellmann, James has held the positions of Tracking and Tracing Analyst, Import Coordinator, and On-Site Operations Manager, where he has worked hand in hand with tier one automotive manufacturers supplying General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Honda both in the United States and around the world. In his current role, James assists customers in the Automotive, Fashion, Pharmaceutical, Furniture, Retail, and Aerospace industries.
He is a co-executive producer of the award winning Daily Tech News Show and a host/producer of the Tech in Trade Series.
James is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management, focusing on Supply Chain Studies.
In his spare time James is also a licensed FCC Amateur Radio Technician, a Notary Public in-and-for the State of Ohio, and a KCBS Certified Bar-B-Que Judge.
