AUTHOR: When PUSH Comes to Shove Back (An Action/Adventure Novel for Teens, Parents and Teachers about bullying.)
(Currently working on non-fiction manuscript about families dealing with Alzheimer disease (Living in the Forgotten Familiar)
(Also working on EDICARE, an approach to memory retention based on previous learning strengths.

OWNER of Alz Well That Enz Well, Inc. offering education and support to caregivers (people caring for others: in-home caregivers, healthcare providers, teachers, parents) through keynote addresses, workshops, seminars, and peer counseling. Clients have included Paraplegic Society of Ontario, Toronto Rehabilitation Centre, Alzheimer’s Societies, Trinity College School Parents' Association, Four Counties Palliative Network, , Long-Term Care Facilities … business and volunteer organizations.
EDUCATOR: Previously a Secondary School teacher, interdepartmental head of Special Education, and vice principal. Very active in curriculum development, professional development, action research, and advocacy for troubled youth. Director of numerous high school musicals. Recipient of the O.S.S.T.F. Provincial Award for “Distinguished Service to Education and Community.”
VOLUNTEER: Worked as a community volunteer for three years to establish the Central East LHIN policy guidelines for caregiver health services, served as Chair for the Northumberland/Havelock Collaborative, and sat on the supervisory board for a Caregiver Pilot Project.
Currently serving on the Alnwick/Haldimand Police Services Board and the Northumberland Community Counseling Centre Board of Directors.
