A regular speaker on transmedia entertainment Jay has created and produced numerous landmark productions and applications: from the award-winning YouTube hit Carmilla with over 33M views to the first digital short-form scripted series in Canada to migrate to prime-time television, Backpackers, for top-five U.S. network The CW. Other highlights include building Canada’s largest Millennial YouTube Channel VerveGirl TV; launching the world’s first scripted mobile App series, Totally Amp’d; creative producing the International Emmy-nominated eight-million-strong player universe Total Drama Island – Totally Interactive! and writing and directing the Prime Time Emmy winning Fallen: Alternate Reality Game.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria. He has worked in India, the UK, the Netherlands and Canada and has had further media training with the National Film Board of Canada and the Canadian Film and Television Producers Association.
