Biography
Jay Kurtz is highly experienced in preparing companies to use a well-proven set of "Business Wargaming" and related planning processes to develop and apply business intelligence in preparing and executing more effective business plans. He has also helped many corporations to increase significantly the performance of their sales organizations, at the front-line, middle management and executive levels. His clients include global corporations, medium-sized companies and smaller, entrepreneurial ventures
He is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada and spent a number of years in the military before joining IBM where he served first in a technical role, then moved into sales and sales management. His responsibilities at IBM included managing the Scientific Datacenter and serving as the Marketing Manager for the entire IBM Canada Datacentre organization.
Subsequently, he became a founder and the original Vice President Marketing of what grew to be one of the most successful computer services companies in Canada.
He then moved to the U.S. where he formed and managed a business consulting company, The Kappa Group, and served as its President and that of its successor company, KappaWest, for many years. In 2011, he created a new venture, Business Warriors, Inc. and continues to operate it, serving clients in North America, Asia and Europe.
