Biography
Jayson Matlock is the assistant director of financial aid at Southern Utah University. Matlock's motivation, both personally and professionally, stems from a desire to establish a legacy for his family and to pave the way for others while breaking down generational wealth barriers.
As an alumnus of Southern Utah University, Matlock began his career in financial aid as a work-study student. He has since served as a financial aid counselor, financial aid and wellness coordinator, and assistant director of financial aid.
Matlock earned a bachelor's degree in physical education and human development and a master's degree in public administration from Southern Utah University.
