Jenna El-Khalili joined the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University as an assistant professor of accounting in the fall of 2024. Her primary research interest is in taxation with a focus on income shifting. Jenna is also interested in research questions at the intersection of income shifting and various accounting topics such as debt contracting, corporate governance, and audit. She teaches financial accounting at LMU.
Jenna earned a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Florida and a B.S. in accounting and management from Purdue University. She also holds a CPA license in the state of Illinois and has work experience in both public accounting and investor allocations.
