Jennifer Cupo-Abbott, PharmD, FASHP, BCIDP is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and the Institutional Practice Coordinator for the Office of Professional Experience Programs.
Dr. Cupo-Abbott received both her Doctor of Pharmacy as well as her post-graduate residency training in pharmacy practice from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. She is an acute-care focused practitioner with extensive experience in managing pharmacotherapy for critically ill patients. Additionally, she is Board Certified in Infectious Diseases Pharmacy and has co-led antimicrobial stewardship programs for more than a decade. At the USC School of Pharmacy, she lectures on many antimicrobial pharmacotherapy topics. She also serves as a course coordinator for the advanced pharmacy practice experience preparatory course.
Her research interests include optimal use of newer antimicrobial agents and strategies to improve antimicrobial utilization.
