Biography

People say you shouldn't mix faith and politics, but Jeremy Dillon has made a habit of trying to disprove this theory. A former City Councillor, and member of the Church of England, he is passionate about building cities that succeed. He has overseen the development of a multi-million pound project as part of his city's redevelopment, as well as being involved in decision-making for a quarter of a million people.

With 14 years experience in broadcast radio, along with his experience in internet journalism, he has spoken to audiences as far as the USA and Canada, and brings a diverse set of skills to the table, as well as a passion for people, especially the disadvantaged and dis-enfranchised . He has an insight into virtual communities and social media, and is an avid blogger.

Maiden speech to the City Council in 2010, on the back of the decision to pump a further £600,000 into the Mitchell Memorial Youth Theatre Project in Stoke-on-Trent. Followed by a BBC Interview on the future of the local area.
