Biography
Jerome’s background includes two decades with global industry leaders, including IBM and Chase Manhattan Bank, where he developed operations and marketing expertise in the airline, banking, systems integration and satellite telecommunication sectors.
In 1995 he formed Jewell Consulting Group, a management consulting firm helping organizations improve productivity and leadership. He has provided consulting, executive coaching and leadership training to a broad range of clients, including NASA, AMGEN, Lucent Technologies, the United Nations, COMCAST and the U.S Department of Homeland Security.
Jerome’s work has taken him to France, Greece, Argentina, Mexico, Hungary, Belgium, the U.K, Canada and Bermuda and he has conducted considerable primary research in higher education, financial services, professional sports management and national defense.
He has scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Rainier, run the Marine Corps Marathon, swum the Alcatraz Challenge in San Francisco Bay twice and broken bread in another 11 nations...all part of his outlook.
Jerome coaches Executive MBA and MBA students at Columbia Business School, has coached in Georgetown University's MBA Program and is a former faculty member at Howard University's MBA Program, the AMA and Management Centre Europe - Brussels.
As a storyteller, Jerome draws upon all the above, providing clients with inspiration and concrete guidance in solving their most difficult problems.

He has an MBA from Columbia University and continues to study Spanish, French and German. He’s certified in the Emotional Competency Inventory, a 360-degree assessment tool developed by Dr. Daniel Goleman (author of “Emotional Intelligence”), to help leaders understand and improve their emotional intelligence.
