Joann Tolbert-Yancy
Joann Tolbert-Yancy is the President & CEO of Jotoski Human Resource Consulting Firm based in Dallas, TX. Her consulting firm specializes in employment law compliance, EEO litigation support, diversity training, and management/employee development. Serving clients such as Homeland Security, State, Farm Insurance Texas Zone, Chase Bank, US Postal Service, United States Department of Education, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Ryder System, Inc, Defense Logistic Agency, Missile Defense Agency, and the State of Oklahoma Department of Correction.
Her presentation is fast paced, and entertaining. Her style of deliverance is energetic, powerful, thought provoking and inspirational. Ms. Yancy toured with the African American Women on Tour from 1998 to 2002. She has traveled nationally and internationally inspiring and motivating audiences from Jamaica, to Bahamas as well as New Orleans before three (3) thousands engaged and excited participants during the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority National Convention.
Ms. Yancy has been speaking and conducting workshops for twenty (20) years and has addressed several thousand professionals all over the country. Past speaking assignments includes Blacks in Government National Conference, City of Dallas, Radio one, Ohio University, National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice, Oklahoma State Correctional, St. Croix , USVI Business Women Group, and many more.
Writing credit includes “Romantic Secrets Men Should Know” ranked # 3 Best Selling nonfiction paperback by the Dallas Morning News and # 9 by Eclipse Magazine. Her new book, “What Dreams are You Sitting On” has hit the best seller’s list in Dallas, Texas and rated # 1 by Eclipse Magazine. Her New Book, “The Unwritten Rules of the Workplace,” is due for release December 2011.
Joann holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
