Johan Benedict Cristobal
Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Statistics, and Data Science Loyola Marymount University
Biography
Cristobal was born in the Philippines and moved to the U.S. when he was nine years old. Since then, he's moved more than a dozen times, even living in places with snow like Michigan and Nebraska -- now he's back in sunny warm California! Cristobal's main academic interests are in computational/applied partial differential equations, mathematics education, and a little bit of data science, statistics, and machine learning. Outside of academia, he likes to cook and learn new recipes from different cultures, and he dabbles in YouTube content creation.
