Biography
Jon Baldwin is a Los Angeles–based dancer, educator, choreographic artist, and arts administrator whose work spans performance, pedagogy, and program development. With a strong foundation in both creative practice and academic leadership, Jon brings a holistic approach to dance that centers artistic excellence, education, and community impact.
Jon earned both a Master of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of the Arts, where he trained under leading artists and educators including Donna Faye Burchfield, Sidra Bell, Helen Simoneau, Bobbi Jean, Thomas F. DeFrantz, Tommie Waheed, and Heidi Cruz-Austin. His movement background encompasses a mixture of classical and contemporary ballet and partnering, a range of contemporary styles, modern (Horton), hip-hop, african aesthetics, tap, jazz, musical theater, and floor techniques.
With a diverse skill set, Jon Baldwin continues to bridge performance, education, and leadership, cultivating meaningful artistic experiences across professional and academic spaces.
