Biography
Dr. Jon “Tony” Oliver serves as the dean of the College of Health Sciences at Southern Utah University.
Previously Dr. Oliver served as the interim associate dean of the College of Health and Human Services at Eastern Illinois University. He has served at that institution as a professor since 2002 with a specialization in Sport Administration.
Dr. Oliver earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Brigham Young University. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kansas.

Southern Utah University Provost Dr. Jon Anderson announced today the appointments of two new deans. Dr. Jeffrey Miller will serve as Dean of the College of Engineering and Computational Sciences, and Dr. Jon “Tony” Oliver has been appointed Dean of the College of Health Sciences. Both were selected after a national search.
